In 2002, Monte was presented with the opportunity to enter into the real estate industry and purchased and conducted multiple real estate acquisitions. Immediately after beginning his new career, Monte realized that commercial real estate was his true passion as he was able to combine his investment experience and philosophy with the creative talent required to renovate and reposition properties. Monte Lee Wen founded The PPA Group in 2004 and currently serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. In the last four years he has grown the firm 10 fold: from six employees to 65. The company has grown to a lead position in the commercial real estate sector with a portfolio valued at over $165 million and commercial property in three states. With Monte at the helm of The PPA Group, the company's portfolio has continued to expand exponentially. Monte has led his company to be a recognizable force in the commercial real estate industry and the company has been recognized by city and foreign leaders for its efforts to not only invest in its communities but also in the families that resided at its communities. The PPA Group's acquisitions have appeared in numerous published news sources. Most recently in June of 2008, Monte founded PPA Real Estate Management to serve as the private equity property management company. PPA Real Estate Management currently manages a diversified portfolio valued in excess of $165 million consisting of multifamily, emerging office, and development properties. Monte's real estate investing philosophy involves highly calculated evaluations and taking advantage of opportunities whereby superior risk-adjusted returns can be realized. This approach has allowed The PPA Group to realize tremendous returns on investment regardless of market and valuation trends at the time the investment is made.

Nalie Lee-Wen As Senior Vice President of Finance, Nalie Lee-Wen heads The PPA Group's internal Department of Finance and Commercial Specialists. Nalie has worked on the successful financing and closure of over $100,000,000 in Real Estate transactions. Nalie's extensive experience and expertise, solving title issues, working with state and local governments, surveyors, lenders and legal professionals has resulted in a 100% closing rate. She has been able to accomplish this through her strong lender relationships and by conducting extensive internal underwriting and due diligence, prior to submitting loan documents to lenders. Nalie has shown an ingenious ability to anticipate potential problems and creates solutions prior to issues arising.
Dave Carter
Dave Carter, uses his vast experience and contacts as The PPA Group's principal consultant in commercial real estate and investment opportunities. With over 20 years of successful business development experience resulting in significant value creation involving over $4 billion in commercial real estate, totaling 100 million square feet nationwide, he is involved in all major investment, acquisition, dispositions and asset management decisions. Dave is responsible for value fund development and sits on The PPA Groups acquisition and disposition committees.
Previously he held executive level positions with a $4 Billion division of GE Capital, Commercial Net Lease a $1.3 Billion REIT (now known as National Retail Properties) CB Richard Ellis the world's premier, full-service real estate services company.
Prior to these positions he spent 10 years in the appraisal consulting side of the business, during which time he completed consulting assignments for all types of commercial property including multi-family, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, special use and undeveloped land. M. Scott Mikel
M. Scott Mikel “Scott” officially joined The PPA Group as legal counsel in June of 2008, but is not new to the company. He has been an integral part of the team over the years, providing independent legal services to The PPA Group since its inception. Scott's experience is especially valuable in that he not only brings legal expertise to PPA, but his background as an accountant and work in financial management and analysis provides a unique finance/legal perspective which has proven to be extremely beneficial. Scott has over 15 years experience in accounting, law, real estate, finance and management. He has had the opportunity to work with the largest independent oil company in the Pacific Northwest, a venture capital investment firm with over 1.8 billion in assets under management, a financial portfolio fund with over 1.3 billion in assets under management and a boutique business, tax, estate planning and real estate law firm, focused on high net worth individuals and emerging companies. For the past 2.5 years, Scott has been a principal member at M Law, PS, a Seattle based real estate, business and estate planning law firm. Scott oversees all legal aspects of PPA's acquisitions: including contract drafting, negotiations, entity formation, financing, funding and escrow. He also manages legal processing of liens, litigation, evictions and other required legal actions for PPA Real Estate Management, LLC. En-Land Hsiao
En-land Hsiao is responsible for The PPA Group's portfolio of commercial real estate assets and are operating to their fullest potential. His primary focus is to ensure expenses are within budget and revenues are at their peak for what the market will allow . His main goal is to achieve maximum returns for our equity partners. Prior to joining The PPA Group, En-land worked for GSM, a boutique Management Consulting firm in Chicago. At GSM, En-land worked with numerous small to medium sized companies performing in-depth financial analysis while developing budgets, cost controls and cash management plans to help his clients increase their profitability. Joy Schoffler
Within the PPA Group Joy Schoffler spearheads the property acquisition efforts. She plays an integral role in locating, analyzing, and negotiating high return investment properties. In addition to managing the Acquisitions department Joy works closely with our equity partners presenting properties and ensuring they are properly educated on our investments. Prior to joining The PPA Group Joy worked on several mixed use development projects ranging in value from $2,000,000 to $300,000,000. In addition to the previous mentioned duties, Joy consulted for several small businesses helping them expand to the next level: writing business plans, fund raising, conducting market studies, working with investors and much more. Prior to her move to Austin, Texas, Joy served as the founder and President of the Bellevue Real Estate Investment Club, the largest active real estate investment club, in Bellevue, WA. In addition to her accomplishments in the real estate arena Joy also served six years in the Army Reserves as a Finance Officer. During her military career she served one year active duty for the war, led a 16 man team of finance soldiers and interned at the Pentagon. There she worked on press releases with the Pentagon press correspondent, updated army regulations, and assisted Donald Rumsfeld's staff.
